Author's Summary: She's doing this to him because she loves him - well, some other version of him. The one in the real world - but she's doing this because she loves him. Really. Really, really. He'll understand soon. Just not right now. But he'll understand. Eventually, Rose Tyler will make him understand everything, even this. darkfic
Characters/Pairings: Ten/Rose…or not. Pete’s World!Jack comes into it as well.
Warnings: Non-con, violence, disturbingness
Recced because: I’m frankly stunned this story hasn’t been recced here before. The Rose it presents is very, very different to the Rose we know, but just similar enough to send shivers up your spine. This story is incredibly dark but the way it plays out, and the sheer quality of the writing, is all so entrancing that you can’t look away. Without spoiling anything, the end is so, so powerful and triumphant and sad. In short, this is one devastating, chilling and utterly disturbing fic, it’s incredibly well written, and it is worth your time.

That would be my final rec for this week. I hope you’ve enjoyed the fics! :)

Author's Summary:“This is ridiculous,” said the Doctor at last, disbelievingly. “I’m nine-hundred and three years old. I shouldn’t be carded.” The adventures of Sally Sparrow and Eleven. (Response to the Jessa L'Rynn April ChallengeII lulz!)
Characters/Pairings: Eleventh Doctor, Sally Sparrow
Warnings: none

Recced because:
This story is simply gold. The characters are well thought out, the voices ring in true, if hysterical, tones and I was unable to stop laughing the whole way through my first read. I'm recommending it to you because I still laugh out loud, each time I read it through. So go, enjoy the best cure for a case of the Mondays: laughter!

Recced because:
Now that we’ve all got over the shock of the new Doctor, we can get down to business pondering the potential ramifications of this newest and as-of-yet unseen incarnation. For example, what might happen if his companion pranked him by, say… stealing the psychic paper just as he’s about to place his order at the pub?

Pure silliness, lulz, and socks. This story manages a plot, characterization, and backstory even as absurdities pile on absurdities. If you don't giggle at least once at the Doctor's predicament you are a hard, mirthless being.
