I liked the Doctor in the webcast (and the Master) but the plot to this one was kind of so-so imo. It's worth watching, but you don't have to in order to read the series. (ETA: hm, I didn't mean for that to sound so handwavy, sorry! What I meant was, thank you for the link! It's a worthwhile story despite my quibbles and I think the characters definitely deserve more adventures too :) )
