Recced because: There's plenty of Handy/Rose fiction out there exploring how they learn to adjust to one another, but "Catch-22" is one of the most emotionally complex takes on the situation I've seen. Handy tries to cope, not entirely successfully, with the ordinary aspects of human life: trying to hold down a job when he's so easily bored, and being trapped on Earth when he's used to traveling in time and space. Meanwhile, Rose pines for the other Doctor even as she learns to love and accept the one she has, for all his faults. Truly lovely work.
