rec: 'somewhere a clock is ticking' by vegaofthelyre

Hello!  I'm , Brunhilde on Calufrax, and I'm excited to be your current reccer!  I'm posting these in the middle of writing an essay, so if these posts aren't quite as eloquent as they ought to be then please forgive me.  My brain is mush.

Anyway, on to the first rec:

Story: somewhere a clock is ticking
Author: vegaofthelyre
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 607
Author's Summary: ”I lose time,” said he.
Characters/Pairings: Romana II, The Doctor (8th)
Warnings: None.

Recced because: Romana, Eight, a gothic novel, and something disturbing happening to Time. This story has been in my bookmarks for years now and I'm amazed it hasn't been recced before, cryptic as it is: the language is beautiful, the characters are spot-on, and it's downright unnerving.  Absolutely worth a read or ten.

I don't think I was that quick, 'cos it took me a good minute to find the fic on Teaspoon and grab the link. Anyway, not to worry.

I just thought I'd pop it in there because I wasn't sure how long it would take you to get back to it since you're essay writing.
