Recced because:

I am a fan of Edgar Allen Poe, and clearly so is Philyra.  I love stories that take kernels of truth about a real person, and then imagine how they might have come to pass; this story does that extremely well.  It also contains scary, original aliens.   As a trio who have all suffered heart-breaking losses, the Doctor, Emma and Poe make a great team.  The final chapter contains an idea that I now like to consider reality, even though it is about a fictional character.

Author's Summary: After "Journey's End" we were all left with only the hope that Rose and 10.2 would make it work and live happily ever after. But what if they just couldn't?
Characters/Pairings: Rose Tyler, The Doctor (Duplicate 10th)

Recced because: In a post Journey's End world, there are a million and one stories out there of Handy and Rose, living their lives in complete happiness... this is not one of those stories! It turns out that warring with Rose bears a startling resemblance to the War of the Roses... will they both survive?

Oh, and I'd recommend not having any hot liquids within the vicinity when you read this.
