Recced because: I've taken this as my personal canon until proven otherwise. It covers what might have happened to Ace during the Time War gorgeously tragically, and then it slots her into New Who in a way that makes perfect sense. Parts are wonderfully surreal and strange, but Ace's voice remains strong and completely true throughout. The whole thing is haunting and beautifully written, and manages to be angsty in a good way, but still uplifting.
