I love this story because it manages to be elegant, quirky, and humorous all at once. It is set in the early days of Rose's travel with the Doctor, and it does an excellent job of capturing Rose, the Doctor, and most of all, the TARDIS. I love the author's concept of the TARDIS as vast and infinite and practically beyond our (and the Doctor's) understanding, but possessed with a rather off-beat sense of humor nonetheless.
The author's style is almost a bit Douglas Adams-esque, but a bit more subdued, and all the thought that went into the subtle details makes the story a joy to read (and re-read).
