Rec: The Witnesses by Aiffe

Well, everyone, this is it for me. I hope you enjoyed my recs! I didn't get to any Classic Who, but as of tonight's story, I have hit all three New Who Doctors and all of the New Who companions, so I feel it was still a fairly even spread. See you next time!

Story: The Witnesses
Author: Aiffe
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 8400
Author's Summary: They can say he existed because they were there, if only in dreams. [Major spoilers for Cold Blood]
Characters/Pairings: Eleven, Amy Pond/Rory Williams
Warnings: None.

Recced because: One of the perks of being in a fandom while a show is airing (something I rarely am privy to) is reading the things people write between episodes. This was written right after "Cold Blood" aired, and shows one way that Eleven could have solved that particular problem. It is sometimes funny, sometimes thoughtful and wise, and sometimes heartbreakingly sad. In other words: it is beautifully, perfectly Doctor Who. Enjoy!

Ugh god wholeheartedly seconding this rec. I may or may not have bawled while reading this when it was originally posted (and I've re-read it several times since!).

One damn fine piece of fanfic.
