Recced because: The very idea of an AU where Romana is the last of the Time Lords with Mickey as her companion is of course fantastic, but it's the execution that really makes this fic. The characterisation is superb, Romana's guilt over the war and how ill at ease she feels in the Doctor's TARDIS is both painful and wonderful.
