Story: Eliminating Redundancies

Recced because: As I mentioned on Monday, I'm a crossover fan. But if you're going to write crossovers using the Dr. Who rules of how time works, it becomes obvious that some other time travel stories run into serious problems. This glimpse of Jack's life as a Time Agent puts the boot into the Terminator franchise, big time. To say more would be too spoilery.
The large, naked man regarded the three punks with a clinical indifference. “Your clothes. Give them to me.”
Since their hands were already curled around switchblades, their response was immediate, and admittedly predetermined.
However, a bright red flash of light, and a burning, cauterised hole in the large man’s left temple was something of a surprise. Face expressionless, he toppled to the ground with a fairly impressive thud.
