Author's Summary: It is a truth universally acknowledged that Captain Jack Harkness is hard to forget. So why does one conquest never remember his name?

Warnings: Swearing.
Recced because: It’s sharply written, contains an unexpected (but entirely logical) pairing, and it's very funny. Clara Oswald and Jack Harkness are bound to meet, in this case, repeatedly. What’s bothering Jack is why Clara can never remember who he is each time it happens again. I can’t decide what’s the funniest part – Gwen’s suggestion that it's because the sex isn’t as great for Clara as it is for Jack, or the effect of the Doctor's arrival on Torchwood’s tendency to bad language but it's a thoroughly entertaining read from start to finish.
