Recc'ed Because: A short, dark and strange AU about the Doctor and the TARDIS, and the dark side of their relationship. The premise is sad and a bit scary; that what seems like symbiosis to the Doctor is baser and more manipulative from the TARDIS POV. Despite the asymmetric relationship, the TARDIS still comes across as an extremely powerful being, like someone trying to keep a tiger as a pet.

Recced because: This fic is interesting as an AU, but what I love most of it is the imagery. With a rather unexpected focus on the London Eye (because really, here's Murphy right there - what London landmark is going to outlive humanity? The London Eye, of course!), a very possible version of the Doctor comes to life in a vivid way.
