Recced because: Eleven is alone in the TARDIS is a moment of angst, missing the Ponds, and the moment is painted so beautifully and completely here in so few words. It’s vivid, sharp, poetic – utterly gorgeous – as the Doctor can’t help seeing the significance of a colour – red. I’ve enjoyed an awful lot of this author’s stories, but this one has stuck in my head (with claws) ever since I first read it. I hope you like it, too.

Anything you could choose of Mandy's is going to be phenomenal; there is just no way to go wrong if you're going to rec her material. I'm always overjoyed to see someone plugging her work. :) I love her writing voice, I love the subject matter she goes with...she's just incredible--easily one of the best around.
