Story: Always Walking Away
Author: Amy Wolf
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 2808
Author's Summary: "He never thought he'd say that many goodbyes to the same person."
Characters/Pairings: Susan Foreman, Romana I, Romana II, Martha Jones, Ten, Eight, One
Warnings: rather dark

Recced because: First, I should mention that this is complete crack. However, it's also so well-written it's almost plausible, and the ending is rather chilling.

Excerpt: He’s trying to work it out in his head, the order in which it all happened. First for her, not him. He knows how it all played out for him. Knows far too well. Can’t forget the goodbyes. He needs to see it from her end; not what he tried to show her, but what she saw. What she took, not what he wanted to give.

That way, hopefully, he can understand why they’re always saying goodbye. And why she always comes back.
