Recced because: As some folks here might know, I'm a great fan of the Doctor/Jack/Rose OT3 (with either Nine or Ten), and this story is ( to me, anyway) a lovely example of that combination.  It's also a great "warm fuzzies" piece, as Jack and the Doctor get to be all protective of Rose, she's grateful . . . and ultimately a very good time is had by all.  ;)

Recced because: I'm a huge fan of 'the Companion saves the Doctor' fics, and this one is the first - and one of the best - I've read, so far. This is Rose, left stranded on a strange planet when the Doctor is arrested, and how she deals with it all. She's smart and clever and resourceful. I especially love the entire courtroom scene. The story is wonderfully written, and Rose's character coming shining through.

Recced because: I have a huge weakness for reunion!fic and baby!fic. Wouldn't you know it? This fic is both! Aibhinn does an excellent job with the characters and their interactions. The Martha in this story is a bit AU, as it was written before we knew very much about her, but it's an interesting look at what might have been. My husband told me about this one, and I give him many thanks, as I have come back to re-read this story several times. (And if you like this one, there are a couple of other stories that take place in the same Universe.)
