I missed yesterday, so here's my seventh and final rec for the week. Thanks for reading!

Story: My Body Is A Cage
Author: threerings
Rating: Lacks a rating on Teaspoon, but I'd certainly call it adult.
Word Count: 2486
Author's Summary:"Rose gave another long-suffering sigh. Trust the Doctor to bring her to a world where the air was an aphrodisiac. To her, at least, though apparently not to him."
Characters/Pairings: Ten and Rose.
Warnings: Dark, graphic sex. Questionable consent.

Recced because: It's a sex pollen fic where Rose is affected and the Doctor tries not to do anything inappropriate. For a change, this story acknowledges the inherent creepiness of that kind of setup -- and that there's more than one solution to the problem. It's dark, and there's no lightening of the mood even at the ending, but I'm fond of it for being an unusual take on an overused fanfic trope.

Author: Nostalgia
Rating: Adult
Word Count: 1432
Author's Summary: Ten/Martha/TARDIS - "Oh, come on, it's not like you haven't thought about it."
Characters/Pairings: Ten/Martha/TARDIS, as promised.
Warnings: Graphic sex.

Recced because: I didn't really mean to do two Doctor/TARDIS recs in one week, but I ran across this story in my bookmarks and remembered how much I liked it. Nostalgia has a gift for funny dialogue, and the console-room sex (with TARDIS as participant, or at least presence) is both hot and appropriately alien.

Story: Lord Shiva in the House of Joy

Rating: Adult
Word Count: 3003
Author's Summary: Desperate to remember who he is, the Eighth Doctor visits a certain house in St Louis in order to determine if he can, in fact, travel through time and space in the manner of Shiva.
Characters/Pairings: Eighth Doctor and OCs.
Warnings: Moderately graphic talk of sex, though not much happens onscreen.

Recced because: This is the story of the Eighth Doctor and the denizens of a whorehouse, as told by the madam. Nowhere near as dirty as it sounds. Shiva references have shown up more than once in kalima's writing, but they're integral to this story, and the Eighth Doctor is as charming as ever. The narrator provides a fun change in perspective, especially apt when writing about a Doctor who doesn't know who he is.

Story: Diverticulum
Author: Kate Andrews
Rating: I think it used to be "R," because it doesn't have one now. Adult, to be on the safe side?
Word Count: 1675
Author's Summary: Saying it like that felt so much better than saying 'pushed her guts back inside.'
Characters/Pairings: Ten and Rose -- does a bit of tension make it Ten/Rose?
Warnings: Medical squickiness.

Recced because: This is an odd little fic, rated the way it is not for sex or overt violence but because... well, to quote the story, "Three days ago, with her very own gut, [Rose] learned what it felt like when the Doctor repaired your serous membrane and restored the integrity of your peritoneal cavity." They manage to banter about it afterward, almost. I like the shifting balance of funny and serious, the awkwardness of the not-quite-spelled-out emotions, and the (mostly) sweet ending that doesn't quite go where you think it might.

Author: Significant Owl
Rating: Adult
Word Count: 1520
Author's Summary: She couldn't see the bottom.
Characters/Pairings: Ten/Martha
Warnings: Sex, but not extremely graphic.

Recced because: It was hard to choose just one of Significant Owl's stories to rec; she has a wonderfully lyrical but economical way with words, and excellent characterization. This is set immediately after "42," one of my favorite stories for the Doctor and Martha's dynamic. It follows up on the moments of vulnerability in that episode, and has some really lovely imagery.

Recced because: There is not enough Doctor/TARDIS in the world, and this contains some moments that are both very wrong and very right.
