Recced because: There aren't many Evelyn stories and this is a particularly lovely one. The relationship between the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn is just right - exactly as it is in the audios. Evelyn and Barbara are two companions who should definitely meet, given their shared interest in history. It's fun to see the Sixth Doctor, Evelyn, Ian and Barbara all interact.

Recced because: It's one of the first Whofics I ever read, and one I treasure dearly and re-read more than any other fanfic regardless of fandom. It's the last Doctor and a quiet introspection upon his life and the people in it, leading to an ending that is both heart-wrenching and beautiful, bittersweet and wonderful.

In short: if you read just one story I rec this week, let it be 'Intimacy'.

Recced because: I wanted to end the week with a story that was just straight-up fun, and I think this one fits the bill perfectly. It's an adorable little snippet of the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn being their lovable selves and it never fails to put a smile on my face.
