Hello all. *waves* I’m elisi (same name everywhere), and I’m going to be your reccer for this week. I’ve tried my best to assemble a varied list of fics that have made an impression on me one way or another (not easy to narrow down of course), and I think there should be something for everyone. Eleven does pop up a fair few times, but in such completely different contexts that I hope no one will mind.

I’m going to start off with my ‘If you read nothing else, read this!’ story:

Recced because: This is one of the best things I have ever read. Anywhere. At all. Musedepandora (cinderbella333 on LJ), is without a doubt one of the most talented writers I have ever had the fortune to come across, and what she has done in this story is sheer magic. It’s not your average AU – or rather, there is what could be termed an ‘average’ AU, but it is combined with another AU so mythical and beautiful that my words can’t do it justice. And the way these two complimentary stories entwine – as well as the way they call back to the show itself – is so masterly done that I am rendered mostly speechless. Sorry if I'm vague, but it is not easy to put across how different and lyrical this story is without quoting the whole thing.
