Story: Echoes in Erythrae
Author: Pyrebi
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 2,797
Author's Summary: The Doctor met the Sibyl once. Hell of a woman.
Characters/Pairings: Ten, the Sibyl
Warnings: None
Recced because: Pyrebi takes a few throwaway lines from "The Fires of Pompeii" and constructs an entire story, bringing the Doctor together with another character capable of seeing the past and future, and who understands more than any other human how painful that can be. There's little plot to speak of, but that hardly matters; what's important here is the dialogue between the Doctor and the Sibyl, as each tries to take the measure of the other, directly and indirectly. And yes, they dance the tarantella.
