Story: Like The Sea Wind
Author: Joan Milligan
Rating: All Ages.
Author's summary: There was a girl on a beach who'd decided to stay there forever.
Characters/Pairings: Rose Tyler, Sapphire, Steel
Warnings: Crossover with Sapphire and Steel
Recced because: Crossovers are probably one of the hardest genres of fanfiction to actually write well. To write a really good crossover, you have to find a way to make the two fandoms you're writing about really mesh well, so that it makes sense that they're both happening in the same universe. Ideally, you also want to make sure that someone from either fandom can read the crossover and still enjoy it, no matter how little they know about the other fandom. Joan Milligan's "Like The Sea Wind" is quite possibly one of the most perfect crossover fics I have read.
There are weak points along the fabric of time, places where very bad things have the possibility to happen. Sometimes they do. When problems occur, Sapphire and Steel are sent to take care of things. In this story, they're sent to a beach in Norway.
All irregularities will be handled.
