Recced because: There are many things I love about Doctor Who, but two things that I love-like-burning are the episode 'Midnight' and the awesomeness that is Ten and Donna together. This fic by
hence_the_name does a magnificent job at showcasing these two delights of mine, winding angst with fluff, friendship with deep affection, and curling them together into a snapshot of a tender moment of hurt/comfort between Donna and the Doctor. He is arguably the most vulnerable she's ever seen him, but as was often the case with them, she seems to be just the right salve at the right time for him. This story is a beautiful expression of that healing relationship they shared.
