'Ello! I'm Pitry and I shall be your reccer for this week. In the unlikely event this week will turn out to be a trainwreck, the emergency exits are here, here, here and everywhere! Also, oxygen masks are available.
Story: The Alien-Fighters' Social Club
Author: such_heights
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 2540
Author's Summary: [A Torchwood/Stargate: Atlantis crossover] Sheppard and his team were to stay based with Torchwood Three until such a time as the Daedalus was in orbit. A chance to improve inter-organisational relations, apparently.
Characters/Pairing Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper, Owen Harper, Toshiko Sato, Ianto Jones, Stargate Atlantis team (Sheppard, McKay, Teyla and Ronon).
Warnings: None.
Recced because: It's the old age question of science fiction. What's the faster ship, The Enterprise or the Millennium Falcon? Who's the worse alien menace, the Daleks or the Borg? Which team is more incompetent, Torchwood or Sheppard's Atlantis team? This deliciously hilarious crossover makes sure to answer at least one of these questions. Even though I'll forever have a soft spot for the franchise, I'm not a big fan of Stargate Atlantis. But this story not only exploits the best of both worlds, it also feels quite accessible for those who are not familiar with the crossover.
