Yesterday being the 48th Anniversary (and I never mentioned it? - shame on me!), and today being Thanksgiving (which being from Blighty I don’t celebrate – no Turkey till Christmas for me!) I’m reminded of the thankful fact that we’ll be having the Eleventh Doctor back for Christmas… but no Amy and Rory? Awwww. Or no River? Well that won’t do at all. Let’s have a fic to make us feel better, hey?
###
Story: Reasons Why
Author: SarahNoH
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 2918 Words
Author's Summary: Rory needs to talk with someone, and the TARDIS knows just the right person. Set between The Girl Who Waited and The God Complex.
Characters/Pairings: River Song, Rory Williams
Warnings: None
Recced because: Well after the terrible choice he had to make in The Girl Who Waited, we all knew that Rory would be more than a bit down in the dumps. Here the TARDIS lets him visit the Storm Cage where he can have a chat with… well you can guess right? Sarah here writes both Rory and his darling daughter wonderfully well, drawing on both their previous encounter in Let’s Kill Hitler and the recent tragedy of The Girl Who Waited. In short this is a solid one-shot fiction to read so check it out!
