Recced because: I was debating what to do about my last rec for the week and then I stumbled upon this story, which is just lovely, and a perfect fit because of the holidays. It manages to to address an aspect of Amy and Rory's timey-wimey lives in a way that is both humorous and bittersweet, and feels very real. The character details are spot-on, and it really hits the right emotional notes.  I'm not usually the biggest fan of Christmas fic, but I loved this--it's cute without being sappy, and just a really great little story overall.
