Story: The Endless Doctor
Author: Beshter
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 14067
Author's Summary:The Doctor's life has been shaped from the beginning by these strange beings known as the Endless. All find the Doctor fascinating and each leave an impression on his very long journey. A crossover between Doctor Who and The Sandman comics by DC/Vertigo Comics.
Characters/Pairings: The Doctor (10th), The Doctor (11th), The Doctor (1st), The Doctor (4th), The Doctor (8th), The Doctor (9th), The Doctor (Fatal Death)
Warnings: None.
Recced because: My favourite comic series, the one that re-kindled my interest in comics after years of barely paying them any attention, has to be Neil Gaiman's Sandman, in which the main characters are the Lord of Dreams and other anthropomorphic personifications. Here Beshter finds reasons for The Doctor to meet them. It's a very effective fusion of these universes, as a series of excellent vignettes. It's the first time this author's been recced here, I suspect it won't be the last.
