Recced because: Romana, Eight, a gothic novel, and something disturbing happening to Time. This story has been in my bookmarks for years now and I'm amazed it hasn't been recced before, cryptic as it is: the language is beautiful, the characters are spot-on, and it's downright unnerving. Absolutely worth a reador ten.
