If you have seen CoE -- and you found Alice to be as intriguing as I did -- then this is the perfect fic to read. It's a fine character study of Alice (and her father, too) captured in five scenes from her life. It's well-executed and when you read it, you can't help but think that this is exactly how Alice grew up.
