Hi there! :) I'm alt_universe_me, and I'll be your reccer this week. I'm a big fan of Classic Who, New Who, and Torchwood, and I'll try to rec a variety of fics.

Recced because: Crossing over from Torchwood to Doctor Who can be a difficult enterprise in a story, but this fic manages to capture the mood so well, so that it just fits the characters perfectly. Everyone in this story is so very human, just reaching out for comfort, giving and taking without blame. Rory is in the background, but not forgotten, and not marginalized, which is great to see when pairing Amy up with someone else. The ending is hopeful, and beautiful, and even though the Doctor isn't actually in the fic, I think he would very much approve.
