Recced because: The author calls this a "demented AU", but I call it brilliant. This is a cracktacular romp through the Superman mythos with Rose as our heroine: she works at the Daily Planet with Lois, she fights crime, and she meets a skinny stranger with beeping devices who also has a secret alien identity. The story is both hilarious and, at the end, deeply touching. It also features a terrific cameo from Mickey, and with lines like “I’m an intrepid girl reporter. I know all sorts of things.”, how can you go wrong?
