Author's Summary: The Monk has been arrested for tampering with the timeline. But he's not the only person in the room with an interest in changing history.

Recced because: Crack ships that someone work out to not be crack. A nice melding of my favourite Doctor with one a little bit more classic. Some brilliant one-liners (the best is from Romana II, somewhere near the end), and a hell of a lot of verbal sparring, which for me often makes a fic. It's also a pretty clever one, with a lot of world-building obviously done in the background.
