Reinette fic is not often praised in favor of Ten/Rose fic, but this is one of THOSE fics, the ones that stick with you for hours and hours after you've read them. The language is so fluid, the narration so perfectly in-character. I swear I felt chills after reading this. It's still one of my favorites.
