This one is a wonderfully humorous multi-era romp, all centered around a Dalek (capable of a "temporal shift of infinite sadness") that just wants a hug. Particularly amusing are the reactions of Peri and Ace, but every scene is quite brilliant (including the small hints about the fashion sense of the future!Doctor).

Missed this one completely when it was posted, and it's definitely worth the read. Loved the Dalek bemoaning the fact that nobody loved it, and our OT3 keeping it as a pet, along with a cat!
