Story: Outgeniused (or: How to Get Fired From the Apple Store in Three Easy Steps)
Author: Casira/
casirafics
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 5,451
Author's Summary: Kate Stowe's seen a lot of strange problems come up at the Genius Bar, but this one qualifies as the strangest she's seen yet... Presenting a bit of shameless insanity, featuring the Doctor, a race of aliens with quite inconvenient taste, and several unorthodox ways to break your iPod's warranty. (In other words: crackfic ahead!).
Characters/Pairings: Ten, OC
Warnings: None
Recced because: I usually stay far away from fanfic starring original characters unless I trust the author, and in this case, not only was I certain Casira wouldn't be writing a Mary Sue, I couldn't resist the title of the story. (In case you can't tell from my icon, I'm a longtime Mac user.)
This is a spectacular little story, featuring the Doctor at his troublemaking best, a smart and resourceful OC I'd be perfectly happy to watch as companion, and iPod usage guaranteed to breach the warranty. Shockingly, there's even a plot, but one with screwball-comedy timing and execution; the author calls this crack, but I'd call it genius, no pun intended.
