Recced because:  We all need crack! from time to time.  Occasionally we need downright silly and bizarre crack! too.  This fic is for those times.  There is a sort of follow up: The Doctor's Leg which is just as funny and a little surreal too.  I challenge anyone to read these two fics and not howl with laughter the whole way through.  Perfectly silly and just what you need at the end of a bad day!

Hmmm, just reading the summary and thought I should mention that it is the Doctor's Hand to the Doctor's Leg which is the sequel not the other way round, but they can be read in either order so it doesn't really matter. Thanks for the rec!
