calufraxI'm going to take us to angst tonight. I'm kind of in a foul mood and this story always fits the bill for me.
Story: Never Enough Time (Formerly "Time Heals")

Rating: Adult/R
Word Count: 14850 spread over five chapters.
Author's Summary: Rose is gone. Without her, the Doctor is lost and uncertain he has the strength, or desire, to struggle through grief again.
Characters/Pairings: Ten, TARDIS, Sarah Jane Ten/Rose implied
Warnings: Attempted suicide.
Recced because: Suicide I realize isn't everybody's cup of tea, but this story really shows how one could be lead to attempt it, and the consequences of such an act. It takes the Doctor, post - Doomsday, to his lowest point and with some help, puts him on some semblance of okay again without Rose. It's often one of the things I'll read when I'm in a really angsty mood (like tonight).
I'll try for something somewhat happier tomorrow :-)
