Author's Summary: Five women the Doctor has never met – and one who keeps coming back. Crossover with Ashes to Ashes, Criminal Minds, Firefly, Madeline L'Engle's Time Quartet, Battlestar Galactica, and Neil Gaiman's Sandman series.
Characters/Pairings: Ten, Nine, author-created Doctor, Jack

Recced because: Crossovers can be tricky – how do you integrate the characters believably into each other's universes? But voodoochild does an admirable job with six separate fandoms, weaving the Doctor seamlessly into all of them, while providing an amusing explanation for Nine's Northern accent at the same time. All the crossovers here are deftly written, with a good ear for character voice, and enough details from canon sprinkled throughout to make each story feel like a true blend of both fandoms. And even though I've never seen Criminal Minds, I still enjoyed that crossover – these are all fine stories, worth reading regardless of whether you're familiar with every show or book.
