Story: Fallen (or How Charlotte Pollard Very Nearly Reformed The Master)
Author: vvj5
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 3579
Author's summary: Charley’s waiting for the Doctor to return, but it isn’t the wrong Doctor she gets, it’s the wrong Time Lord altogether. This can’t end well.
Characters: Charley Pollard, The Master (Delgado)
Warnings: none
Recced because: Only a randomiser would have chosen to cast Charley Pollard as traveling with The Master -- but this quirky concept works brilliantly. Worth a read purely for the banter between these two, such as:
"I don’t know how it is, Miss Pollard, but whenever I turn around, you’re always in some sort of danger.”
She wrinkled her nose. “Oh, I say, that’s unfair, when you know I was the one who had to rescue you from that scaly thing the other day.”
“You are very resourceful,” he agreed. “It was most instructive.” Yes, he must not make the mistake of underestimating her…
