Recced because: "Survivor's Guilt" is incredibly dark in all the right ways. It's Jack hitting on the Doctor and being let in farther than either of them bargained for. I love this story because we get to see Jack's empathy at work--his remarkable ability to read and understand people. It hurts beautifully, and at the end, the darkness isn't quite so dark anymore. (Also, it was the first time I'd ever seen anyone use Jack as a coffee filter--which amused me greatly).

Oh, this! This is among the first fics I read on Teaspoon, and some of the imagery has stayed with me ever since; it's glorious and horrible and frightening, and intimate, and I'm so glad you rec'd it!
