Recced because: Even if you ordinarily avoid like the plague any fic with original characters, this one is worth a try. Amelia (who was named well before Eleven’s companion) is an extremely well-developed character, and watching her story unfold also gives us an interesting perspective on Jack’s life. Plus watching how Jack moves through the mid-twentieth century is a treat.
