Recced because: I never felt the Doctor did right by Harriet Jones in "The Christmas Invasion", and no story states the reasons why more articulately than this one. This is former PM Jones, finally stating her case and getting a bit of her own back, both in the Year That Never Was and after the reset. As Meredith writes her, it's easy to believe that this woman was supposed to lead Britain's Golden Age.

You stole my rec!!! I would growl at you viciously, but I can't be resentful of publicity for this fantastic story. Harriet Jones kicks some serious ass here, and well she deserves it. This just means when my turn rolls around in May I can rec one of Meredith's other wonderful fics.
