Story: Don't Look Now, But Your Ways Have Parted
Author: Red Scharlach
Rating: All Ages
Author's Summary: Rose thinks she has lost her one true love for ever, but then she realizes that they could still be blissfully happy together--if only that stupid Doctor bloke would stop getting in the way.
Characters/Pairings: Rose/Jack/other ("other's" identity is a spoiler), Tenth Doctor
Warnings: None
Recced because: Good crackfic is a thing of beauty and a joy forever, and this one never fails to make me start laughing right from the opening paragraph. The author bills this as "an affectionate look at the cliches of Ten!Fic," thereby proving the old adage that the best satire has some love and regard for its target, and it's equally funny (IMO) whether you ship Rose and the Doctor or whether you don't. Regarding the mysterious "other," I don't know whether you'd classify that particular relationship as het, slash or something singular, but in the end it really hardly matters.
