Recced because: When I started looking for things to rec I went through my Teaspoon favourites, and was once again struck by the stark poignancy of this drabble. (Like all good drabbles, it's so much bigger on the inside.) Imagine my surprise when I realised that it had never been recced (nor had the author), and I am very pleased to rectify this. (You don't need any knowledge of Torchwood in order to appreciate it, by the way. It stands beautifully on is own.)

That sounds about right. Although mine tends to GROW. My current (well the most recent) WIP started life a fun little joke. It's now nearly 20,000 words (although I've only got the epilogue left, thank goodness).

Mine's just fickle. I've got the FINAL chapter of my Longest Fic Ever still sitting in a folder, half-written. It's been months and months and months... (Although she's sorta returned. *pokes fic hopefully*)

Spaceballs... Yeah, we like daft comedy in our house. And I think that as long as you watch *with* them, kids can cope with a lot - and it's better that they know that they can just ASK, and we'll try to explain. (Although we've told them that they're not allowed to watch South Park until they're 23...)

Ah, I can see that being a problem. Although weren't you complaining about enablers somewhere else? ;)

Spaceballs, Men in Tights (well, anything Brooks is Classic!Awesome) - we also like Hudson Hawke, Office Space and Dead Man on Campus for examples of our less than stellar taste, lol!

I do complain about my enablers, don't I? LOL! I love them all...but they seem to think I have talent or some shit *headscratch* they've about got me convinced, damn them!! And here I thought I was just some twisted fangirl, lol...
