Recced because: After a week of reccing some fairly heavy, introspective/emotional stuff, I thought I'd close with something light and fun.
While I sometimes find PWPs enjoyable even if I don't really buy into the pairing, after a while -- no matter how well-written -- they can tend to all sort of blur together for me. Which is why I love this little thing. It may or may not have been meant as crack, but to me it's a hilarious and brilliantly blunt satire. I'll never look at that sort of story the same way again.

Date: 2012-06-26 12:35 pm (UTC)This is awesome. Donna/Doctor is one of those relationships I prefer without romance in it, but this? Entirely plausible, in-character from start to finish and also hilarious. SO MUCH LOVE.

Date: 2012-06-26 01:16 pm (UTC)I too much prefer fics that allow Ten and Donna to be "just" friends. Friendship between two major opposite-sex characters with no expectation of "more" is a rare and precious thing in fiction. (Seriously, don't get me started on the prevailing attitude that platonic friendship is inferior to romance/sex, or a mere lead-up to it.)
But this story is pretty close to how I picture Ten and Donna having sex, if they ever were to actually do so.
