Author: Lilac Summers
lilsum4
Rating: Adult
Word Count: 53374
Author's Summary: Donna is the (un)lucky companion stuck with the Doctor in 1913 this time around; she's not quite sure how to deal with this sudden change in situation. Mostly she just blames the TARDIS. Uses season 3 episodes "Human Nature" and "Family of Blood."
Characters/Pairings: Donna Noble/The Doctor (10th)
Warnings: None
Recced because: I love this story so much. I first read it over a year ago and since then I've gone back to read it all over again two more times. The way Lilac writes is fantastic- incredibly humorous and with just the right amount of description, thought, and dialogue to make for a perfect read. This fic does veer into more explicit areas later on, so be aware. Personally, this fic takes the cake for best episode with a different companion.
Ten and Donna are so very in character, well, as much as Ten can be when he's John Smith. I can't even try to describe the amazing that is this fic. Just go read it for yourselves and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Date: 2014-07-30 03:01 am (UTC)All is well, lovey. My toes are thoroughly un-squished and it's as ruckus free as a tomb over here. That is... a tomb that has nothing to do with everyone's favorite time-traveling archaeologist. Or Indiana Jones. Or any variety of undead creatures. Geez, I suppose tombs are a popular setting for fictional ruckuses. *shrugs*
point is, don't apologize for asking a question! I love to hear from people- I'd honestly rather have someone snark at me than an empty inbox. Not that I like snarking, or that you were snarking.... oh I give up.
*goes back to writing the next chapter of ze fanfic*

Fic away, darling...I shall be occupying what little time I have left in an upright position with fic and cake. Yes. It is marvelous. :D
