Recced because: There are not enough Martha and Rose stories out there, and this is one I keep coming back to. Rose in her new universe becomes the patient of intern Martha Jones, and due to some wacky Torchwood hijinks, Martha ends up in Rose's dreams. Martha without the Doctor is still the same as Martha *with* the Doctor, if a little less travelled. She's still smart and clever and quick on her feet, and doesn't let little things like comas or impossible aliens get in her way. And Rose *after* the Doctor is exactly what I would expect to see - she's working at Torchwood and trying to build a life for herself.

Thanks for the rec! Rose-Martha friendship in either 'verse doesn't get enough love, does it? I liked the idea that, if they'd met independently of the Doctor, they could've become great friends.
