Such as the Tenth Doctor learning that he's supposed to marry his fourth self. Before him stood an imposing structure of lace and white satin, at least six feet tall, a terrifying profusion of ruffles and bows and tulle and taffeta, topped off with a large frilly veil and wrapped up in a twenty foot scarf.
"Do you like it?" the other Doctor asked, grinning madly. "I think it's quite fetching, don't you?"
"What?"
"Oh, dear," said the Doctor in the bridal gown. "I do hope I haven't gone deaf in my old age."
