Recced because: Mostly recced because good crossovers are hard to come by and this one is excellent. The first time I read it I only knew the Alias half, not having seen any Classic Who yet so I know it stands up if you only have a passing familiarity with Doctor Who.

Now that I AM familiar with the Third Doctor, I'm sitting here laughing out loud at how well Rheanna's written him and his relationship with the Master. This fic could have been an episode of the show, it's brilliant. As far as I'm concerned, it IS canon for both shows.

I'm re-reading it now and so far the author's doing a fantastic job of making the Alias characters accessible if you're not familiar with that show.

"He really goes in for moustache-twirling villainy, doesn't he?"

"He's always been overly melodramatic," the Doctor sighed, flipping his opera cape over his shoulder.

I know the fic transpired as a result of a discussion between Rheanna and yahtzee63, they were pairing various characters from other shows with the perfect Doctor for them and they decided the ideal match for Sydney was Three. This fic was the result and there's just NO BAD.

I'm sorry to but in but do you think I should edit my post to emphasize more that I really think it can be read without knowledge of Alias? Cuz I'd hate for people to be put off because of that, it really is a fantastic Three and Master adventure.
